Founding & the CCTV Game™ Launch

155.io is a live content studio founded in Dubai in 2024 by CEO Sam Jones, built around a mobile-first philosophy of turning unscripted, real-world footage into fast, bettable entertainment. The studio’s breakout category, CCTV Game™, launched on January 28, 2026 with its debut title Rush Hour, and has since grown into one of the more talked-about new formats in online gambling, covered in more detail in our CCTV casino games guide.

Rush Hour streams live traffic footage from real intersections around the world, including locations in Sydney, Taipei, Arizona, and near landmarks like Abbey Road in London, letting players bet on outcomes like how many vehicles pass through a junction within a set window. The game runs continuously with rounds completing in under a minute, carries an RTP between 91.5% and 93.5%, and offers a maximum win of 18x. It became a genuine viral moment in February 2026 after a streamer reportedly turned a $20,000 bet into close to $364,000 live on stream.

Expanding the CCTV Game™ Portfolio

The studio has continued expanding its CCTV Game™ portfolio at a fast pace. Snow Run, launched March 31, 2026 exclusively on Roobet before a wider rollout, applies the same real-world betting mechanic to ski resort footage captured via GoPro, drone, and slope-side cameras, with players predicting how many skiers or snowboarders cross a designated zone. Duck River and Rolling Dunes take the same format to different real-world scenes.

The studio’s newest release, Footfall, unveiled in July 2026, merges real public-space footage with a crash-style mechanic, players hold a rising, uncapped multiplier and must cash out before the first passerby steps into frame. Footfall carries a 94% RTP and is fully provably fair, letting players independently verify individual round results. According to founder Sam Jones, 155.io has developed 25-30 real-world game concepts internally to date, with newer titles moving from concept to live deployment in as little as two weeks thanks to the studio’s now well-established production pipeline.

Distribution, Technology & Operator Partners

Every 155.io title is powered by automated computer vision that tracks and counts real-world events in real time, rather than any random number generator, meaning the footage players watch is the literal event their bet resolves on. The studio distributes its catalog through the Hub88 aggregator as well as direct operator integrations.

155.io signed content partnerships with three major operators in February 2026: Stake, Shuffle, and Roobet. On Shuffle specifically, the added catalog goes beyond Rush Hour to include several of the studio’s earlier real-world formats, Marbles, Stairpong, and Ducks. The studio has since also signed a content partnership with SOFTSWISS, a major gaming platform provider, broadening distribution of its CCTV Game™ titles to additional operators running on that platform.
